Assessment of G2P-Sol pepper core collection to Verticillium dahliae Kleb. infestation

Pepper (Capsicum spp.) is one of the major vegetable crops grown worldwide largely appreciated for its economic importance and nutritional value. The aim study to be assessing G2P-Sol pepper core collection including 414 accessions from four cultivated Capsicum species Verticillium dahliae Kleb. infestation. use isolates VdCa13, VdCa15, VdCa17, VdCa18, VdCa19 VdCa21, originally isolated annuum in Plovdiv region, were used inoculum. strongest manifestation disease found accession GPC 118230 (88.54%). Among evaluated tested accessions, 85 do not show any symptom disease. average degree attack by V. highest C. frutescens - 25.70%, lowest chinense 13.62%. maximum index reported 89.58%, while annuum, baccatum all have a lack infection. standard deviation varied 8.54 17.60. coefficient variation (106.25%), weakest (39.08%). percentage distribution according examined materials as follows: represented 94.43%, 1.77%, 2.78% 1.01%.
